A man who allegedly tried to rob a Regina business got more than he bargained for.According to a Regina Police Service (RPS) news release, the man attempted to rob a business on the 800 block of Argyle Street North, but got into a fight with witnesses and was injured. He was still at the scene when police arrived.A second male suspect was able to flee the scene, and police are still searching for him.According to police, officers responded to the location 1:04 a.m. after getting a report that two men armed with guns were inside the establishment.Police arrived on scene and found one of the suspects, a 64-year-old man who had been injured in the fight. He was taken to hospital by EMS. Police also recovered a pellet gun at the scene.The man was later charged with armed robbery using a firearm, disguise with intent, unauthorized possession of a firearm and breach of undertaking. He appeared before a Justice of the Peace and was remanded on his charges.Police are still searching for the second suspect, who is described as male, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet fall, wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up, light pants, dark shoes, gloves and a mask covering his face.Anyone with information on the second suspect is asked to contact Regina police at 306-777-6500 or call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
